Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival.

Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. Its an American's traditional and It is a holiday celebrated primarily in the United States.

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States.

So., Today 26, November, 2009 is Thanksgiving Day in the United States.

Thanksgiving dinner is held on this day, usually as a gathering of family members and friends. People also take time to thank God for his constant grace and for all the material possessions man enjoys. For many Thanksgiving is also the time to thank near and dear ones and being grateful for their kindness.

I was grow up in US and as a Tradition., We will gather with a few close friends to have dinner together at my apartment in Kensington, London today. I will cook, Ryan will help. :))

But., In England, they don't celebrate about Thanksgiving as its not an English thing.

It's a time for sharing and spreading happiness. Wish all your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving with your loving, kinding, caring.

I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful for all of you (To all my close friends and loving family) who care enough to send me a wonderful card and write and e-mail and text messages and even call to let me know that you're there for me!

I'm also thankful for Buddha who let me to have a good life on earth as well as I am thankful for having a Heavenly Father who loves me enough to have sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die so that I can be forgiven of my sins and imperfections (of which I have many, as we all do).

Don't forget to be thankful that we have this wonderful Earth to live on and wonderful families to share our time with.

I'm thankful for my Mom and Dad who so patiently raised me and always took the time to let me know how much they care about me, I could not ask for better parents, teachers and friends than my parents.

Especially, I'm thankful and greatful to my lovely Mom who always understand me and always there and stand for me whenever i need it. I love my parents to bits.., I am so greaful to my Dad to let us to have a fortunate living style in life which he had work hard in his life.

Also, my sister, Soe Mya Ayar Thet Lwin, who is one of my closest and best friends as well. Although we may not have always liked each other, I know we've always loved each other and always will.

And of course, Ayar's husband and my only brother (even if it is only in law :P) Michael, who has given me invaluable advice on my career as well as in life. I also feel blessed and thankful to have my adorable nephew who 3 years old called Allister who always made me laughs and love him more and more.

I shouldn't forget to say that I am so thankful to my last ex boyfriend Paddy (Who is the only man on earth that I've ever given most love in my entire life) who made me feel very special in different level of way and gave me a lots of happiness and safeness every single day that we were together. As a matter of facts, I still love him so much and he is one of the man who cannot able to move form my heart although we both move on whith our lives.

I need to say I'm thankful to Ryan who always there for me and help me through big time while i was doing my Dissertation as well as Professor Dr.JG who were close enough with me in my university life. In fact to Ryan, to help me to get an internship job at one of the best investment firm in the world based in City of London. I am so happy that we work together at same company and meet most of every day.

I'd like to take an opportunity to say here that I'm thankful for having such a good and close friends who are Emily, Zehra, Treacy, Henna, Martin, James, Thomas, Trevor, Zec and Chris. I also thankful to all my friends who sending me a wishes on My FaceBook Profile. I am also thankful to other a few Burmese friends who are there and care for me as well.

And finally, but not least of all, my grandparents, who have supported me throughout all my endeavors in my life. They are an irreplaceable source of encouragement and they mean more than they know.

I can't list everything I'm thankful for, it'd take far too long.

But I am thankful for the many of you who have and continue to kee me going in my life.

Exploring An Alternate Universe

All people have their own way of being in the world.

It is easiest to comprehend this basic yet profound fact when we consider that every human being on the planet occupies a distinct role in the universe.

We grow up in different environments, affected by a unique range of influences.

The preferences, values, and beliefs we embrace are frequently related intimately to our origins. And the need to individualize our experiences is instinctive, as doing so enables us to cope when we must face challenges on our own.

Consequently, each of us has developed a perspective that is uniquely ours. Interacting peacefully and constructively with people from all walks of life is a matter of first understanding where they are coming from.

Then we can adjust our expectations so that we avoid making undue assumptions about what they are about.

In the face of emerging interpersonal conflict, it is easy to assume that others are being difficult, unreasonable, or stubborn.

We are apt to grow frustrated when someone in our environment does not share our opinions or feel compelled to support us in our endeavors.

It is likely that the individual or individuals before us may simply possess differing notions with regard to what is and what is not important in this life.

We can ease the tension that exists between us by reaffirming our belief in the fundamental right of all beings to determine their own destinies.

To foster a harmonious relationship, we need to do our best to relate to the unique universes they inhabit. And as we discover what makes them tick, our ability to find a mode of interaction that is pleasing to both of us is enhanced.

When there are barriers keeping you from connecting with someone else, think of questions you can ask them to gain a more thorough understanding of their point of view.

You may discover that in addition to the differences in perspective dividing you, they are subject to insecurities and other personal issues that influence their way of seeing the world.

It is likely that you will never fully grasp the myriad complexities embodied by humanity, but you can go a long way toward encouraging mutually satisfying relations by reaching out to others in the spirit of sympathetic comprehension.

You Are not Alone ( The X Factor 2009 - Finalists )

This video clip was broadcast on ITV1 yesterday when X Factor result show goes on. The show has been 6 weeks on in UK now. All The X Factor Finalists take to the stage to perform their new charity single You Are Not Alone.

The performance was so moving (Joe was particularly great in this one, his vocal was flawless in this song although I did't support him.), and the idea is awesome.

£1 from the sale of each single of You Are Not Alone will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, to support the work of the hospital.

Shakira was perform on the stage with her new song called ''Did it again'' and all her moves were phenomenal.

This year my favourite Xfactor contestant is Olly Murs, 25, who is from Essex.

Now the show is half way through as six contestantes left and I hope Olly gonna win.
